Project Overview

Water You Waiting For is a collaborative animated short that brings attention to key water security challenges across Canada. The project was developed through interviews with scientists from the Global Water Futures initiative, translating their research into a visual and musical narrative.

In collaboration with composer Ricardo Martins, who created all original music and sound design for the film, these insights were shaped into an animated piece that follows the journey of a single water droplet across the country.

Guided by faculty from the University of Saskatchewan, the project highlights the complexity of water sustainability while offering a thoughtful and hopeful perspective.
